Picks and Pans Review: Everything She Wants
There is something very wrong with seeing George Michael crooning a heartrending (but of course danceable) number about marital pain and inadequacy. In fact, it's hard to imagine this youthful paragon of playfulness, with his earrings and blow-dried mane, married to anything but his mirror. The principals are said to have performed all their own stunts. But aside from one trampoline somersault performed by Andrew Ridgeley that is shown several times, the mystery is: What stunts? There is the obligatory George-under-the-sheets shot, but that's hardly a stunt. This video is slick and somewhat pretentious with all its black-and-white crowd shots, yet in spite of everything, it's also irresistibly hypnotic and appealing
