Once is not enough for model Jerry Hall, Mick Jagger's live-in sweetheart. The two had their first child, Elizabeth Scarlett, 14 months ago, and now 29-year-old Jerry—who popped up at a New York screening of the new Bond film, A View to a Kill—is unquestionably pregnant again. Jagger, 41, who has also fathered a daughter, Karis, 14, with ex-singer Marsha Hunt and another, Jade, 13, with ex-wife Bianca, says he hopes to have one more child after Hall gives birth in August.
Reach out but don't touch someone
Mayor Peter Donoghue was only trying to be friendly when he absentmindedly reached out to give Princess Di a reassuring pat as they visited London's Battersea Arts Center. As onlookers held their breath, he suddenly realized that he was part of a faux pas in progress and hastily returned his hand to his side without touching the royal rump.
There's good reason for Carly Simon to flash her fabled smile as she leaves a recording industry charity dinner in New York. For one thing, her new album, Spoiled Girl, will be out in July. For another, Carly, 39, plans to marry the man on her arm—drummer Russ Kunkel—sometime this summer. Small world: Kunkel, who played on and produced parts of Spoiled Girl, has helped keep the musical beat for years for Carly's ex-husband, singer James Taylor.
