Paper Dolls, Berrenger's and other recent attempts at new nighttime soaps have failed. Apparently not persuaded that the airwaves are saturated with soap, the networks keep trying to add more. This season's attempts: Dynasty II: The Colbys, in which Emma Samms and John James move West soon after the season starts; and Family Honor, in which a good family of cops fights with a bad family of crooks in a multigenerational saga series. ABC says the show's about "the age-old struggle between good and evil." What isn't?
