Picks and Pans Review: Televiolence

Guns remain a top star with the return of Hunter, The A-Team, Riptide, Hardcastle & McCormick (all those from-one man: Stephen J. Cannell), The Fall Guy and Magnum, P.I. Now add more that sound the same: The Insiders and Hollywood Beat (the two Miami Vice rip-offs); The Equalizer, about a guy running a security agency out of his penthouse who "will take on any criminal, from international terrorist to street thug"; MacGyver, starring Richard Dean Anderson in a muscled Mission: Impossible; and Lady Blue, about a cute but bloodthirsty cop, a show that will hold a spot until Dynasty II debuts in November.
