On August 13 CBS premiers West 57th, its new show aimed at yuppies. But that wasn't yet ready for review. So instead, we'll look at the real yuppie TV: shows about money. These days, throughout the day, you can turn on the tube for stock prices, investment advice and prognostication aplenty. If you're like me, you may look upon Wall Street as Las Vegas without the floor shows, the high-class way to gamble. But maybe you think that with all this video advice, there's finally an expert on the air who'll improve your odds. Think twice. After you hear enough biz-show jargon, you'll see that these self-proclaimed financial experts are what they've always been: bookies in tweed.
