Bond is back—Simon, that is. Having weathered bomb threats and other forms of pro-feline retribution after his satirical best-seller, 101 Uses for a Dead Cat, the British-born cartoonist is bearing up now with Tough Teddies. This time he says he's playing homage (after his fashion) to childhood's cuddly creatures. "Most of the cartoons are more pathetic than nasty," claims Bond. "I'm just a softy at heart."
