Picks and Pans Review: Aquaman

UPDATED 12/09/1985 at 01:00 AM EST Originally published 12/09/1985 at 01:00 AM EST

The second "Super Powers" imprint is on this tape and others featuring Batman, Superman and Superboy. They are at least animated—though crudely—and full of villains trying to take over the world. Arthur Curry, a/k/a Aquaman, battles such menaces as Torpedo Man and Mephisto's Marine Marauders in the eight episodes on this one-hour tape. Happily, Aquaman is relatively nonviolent; his preferred method is to capture villains with the help of his aquatic pals, the whales, dolphins and co. (Warner Home Video, $24.98)
