Shelley Duvall's Faerie Tale Theatre is one of TV's great delights. So it seemed like a good idea for Duvall to expand her magical empire into Tall Tales. It wasn't. The first episode of her new series, Annie Oakley, starring Jamie Lee Curtis, is a disjointed, draggy disappointment. Without Faerie Tale's humor and light cynicism, these tales aren't tall at all; they're merely twinkie.
