Reinhold Aman, a Bavarian-born linguist who now lives in Waukesha, Wis., is advocating the establishment of a national no-swearing day. He suggests Apr. 15, "a high stress day when millions of maledictions are hurled against the Internal Revenue Service." It is, Aman says, "a day to try to keep a civil tongue."
