A good idea: You think of all the Canadians entertaining us—John Candy, Lorne Greene, Margot Kidder, William Shatner, Leslie Nielsen, Rich Little—and you start to wonder whether there isn't a conspiracy from up North to take over our minds. But the execution of that idea never rises above a chortle before it sinks to a snore.
