A "video companion" to the best-selling book Dr. Berger's Immune Power Diet, this tape takes the same approach as Freshstart, though less effectively. That's partly because of Stuart Berger; his bulgy-eyed reading detracts from what he's saying. While his book and tape rely on theories about the effect of food on the immune system, his basic dietary advice is familiar: avoid fats, sugar, caffeine; eat more fish, vegetables, fruits. The 6'7" Berger, who once weighed double his current 210 pounds, reassures people in brief daily segments that they're going through "detoxification" as they change their eating habits, though his explanations are less clear than they might be. (Some experts indeed, question the validity of his "immune power" notion.) (MGM/UA, $29.95)
