This movie has the mark of Disney all right: Everybody in it so nice and too perfect. But the story is gripping anyway. Patrick Dempsey plays a teen with severe epilepsy whose only salvation from daily grand mal seizures is a dangerous operation that severs the nerves between the halves of his brain. His parents, Karen (Room 222) Valentine and Beau (Space) Bridges, are too scared to let him go under the knife, so the kid sues his folks. The movie's mush is far outshined by its drama.
