Picks and Pans Review: Nervous Night

The Hooters

Energetic, good-natured and unaffected—as unaffected as rock bands get, anyway—the Hooters seemed to be having a great time in this concert recorded last year in their hometown, Philadelphia. (The opening and closing songs are broadcast video versions of And We Danced and Day by Day; the rest of the 42-minute tape comes from the Tower Theater performance.) Rob Hyman changes the pace nicely with Time After Time, and everybody does a good job of keeping the audience involved. Yet nobody gets out of hand, onstage or off. (CBS/Fox, $19.98)
