Picks and Pans Review: The Get Along Gang

UPDATED 05/19/1986 at 01:00 AM EDT Originally published 05/19/1986 at 01:00 AM EDT

Montgomery Moose, Zipper Raccoon, Bingo Beaver and the rest of their gang manage to communicate their lessons about teamwork without getting preachy in this tale about a scavenger hunt. And Catchum Crocodile, who represents greed, sloth, envy and several other not too admirable qualities, takes his inevitable defeats reasonably well. Adapted from the syndicated TV series, this 22-minute tape is enlivened by the music of John Sebastian and some relatively sophisticated (for television) animation. Cartoon violence is only the most innocuous sort. (Scholastic-Lorimar, $24.95)
