Three great singers and great buddies—Dionne Warwick, Gladys Knight and Patti LaBelle—come together on a Hollywood stage. They sing trios: Living in America, Somewhere and snippets from My Guy and other oldies. But after singing Girl Talk, they are inspired to talk too much and all at the same time. Shut up and sing, I say. Finally they listen, launching into solos: I Will Survive from Gladys, I'll Never Love This Way Again from Dionne and New Attitude from Patti. Those solos are the best. In the rest, the three strong voices don't blend so well.
