Imagine this band: Fats Domino, Ray Charles, Jerry Lee Lewis and Paul Shaffer on keyboards with Ron Wood on guitar. No matter how good your imagination is, these guys sound even better in this one-hour special taped in New Orleans' Storyville Jazz Hall. They don't waste time talking; Paul Shaffer, the relaxed uninterviewer, spends a minute chatting with Fats and Jerry Lee. Then they get down to show business, playing Blueberry Hill, I'm Walkin', Whole Lot of Shakin' Going On, Great Balls of Fire, Jambalaya and lots more. Just plain great.
