Linda Ellerbee and Ray Gandolf take us down nostalgia alley with a slapdash of old news clips set to old music. The premiere tried to bring the summer of '69 to life, but it gave me no l-was-there, oh-yeah grins. The era escaped capture. Our World has neither the authority of Walter Cronkite's old The Twentieth Century nor the authenticity of leafing through musty copies of Life. Nor does it have enough of Ellerbee's wry words and wit, the one asset that could have made the show entertaining. Our World is just old news, so much video fish wrap.
