A strange movie, but still good: Tommy Lee Jones is a priest who stays hidden behind the cold walls of a church until he's dragged to a murder scene. The victim, in his final moments, refuses last rites but still, Jones says, dies "with grace." Fascinated with the man, Jones tries solving the murder and along the way falls in love with Annette O'Toole and her legs. Whether Jones will stay in the church or in love becomes the more compelling question than who killed the dead guy.
