The hot party in Los Angeles last Monday night was not at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, where Oscar reigned, but at Spago, the trendy pizza parlor. The host: octogenarian agent Irving "Swifty" Lazar, who invited 275 names to attend his traditional (20 years) bash. The motion picture academy has asked him to abandon his competing Oscar night party, says Swifty, "but I can't disappoint my friends."
