Not just elephants, lions and tigers, ladies and gentlemen, but one extraordinary elephant that happens to be the world's largest mammal on land. Not just acrobats but acrobats on bikes. And not just Barbara Mandrell as host but Barbara Mandrell singing a duet with animal trainer Gunther Gebel-Williams. Talk about thrills and chills. Okay, so I came to this circus a cynic. But dozens of darling kids with melon eyes won me over. As long as you can't smell it, the circus can be cute.
