Just when you thought it was safe to watch reruns, here comes one final series premiere for the season. They didn't save the best for last. Dear, sweet Blair Brown plays a career woman out to find love and happiness in the big city—in other words, she's another Mary Tyler Moore copykitten. But everything about this lady is weird. She writes poetry that even her elevator operator calls putrid. A strange Indian man asks to rub his face in her hair and then asks her out—and she says yes to both requests. She tells her mother about the Indian man and Mom says: "Why can't you scare up someone white?" This is what the bottom of a network's barrel looks like.
