The horse race is on. Well, actually, considering the quality of the field this year, it looks more like a dog race. A rat race. A cockroach crawl. The new season begins. Two not-bad series, Private Eye and Frank's Place, lead the pack this week, to be followed soon by a few good shows and lots of real bad ones. Place your bets.
