Elayne Boosler, a pro who never fails to be funny, deserves more—maybe a series of her own, maybe a movie (see story, page 114). But for now she'll have to be satisfied, very satisfied, with her cable special. Boosler comes to Broadway to talk about safe sex, shopping and birth—"If I was going to have a kid, I'd have it quick and neat. I'd have Heimlich." She is, as always, a delight.

Meanwhile, on HBO, five young comics have to be satisfied sharing one cable show. Four of the five (Margaret Smith, Rick Ducommun, Bobby Slayton and Allan Havey) may soon deserve specials of their own.
