Picks and Pans Review: Here's Chicago

UPDATED 08/01/1988 at 01:00 AM EDT Originally published 08/01/1988 at 01:00 AM EDT

The gangsters who made Chicago infamous star in this exhibit in the city's Water Tower Pumping Station. The Bugs Moran gang has been remassacred in a diorama of the 1929 Valentine's Day shooting. They died, it seems, with their pinstripes and wingtips on. Mannequins of other noted crooks, such as Al Capone, also testify to Chicago's preeminence in the bathtub-gin era. The city today doesn't rank in the crime-rate Top 100.
