Some folks at CBS must think that we in the audience have IQs as low as their ratings. That's the only reason I can see for feeding us this insultingly insipid tripe. It is supposed to be a show about body language as explored by Desmond (The Naked Ape) Morris. But all we really get is narrator Burgess Meredith doing his Batman delivery of bad tone poems: "No smile has been exactly repeated in the endless parade of human expressions." And we get infantile voyeurism: watching a woman design bras and listening to Morris explain that we expose our "pink lips almost as though they're echoes of the genital region." Really.
