But here's a kids' series that the youth of today won't have to be ashamed of tomorrow. Jerry (Stand by Me) O'Connell plays an average teen until mysterious rays from a neighbor's science experiment give him spectacular new powers—"maybe not as good as Superman's but better than Aquaman's." He can float in the air; he can run faster than a speeding anything; he can fight evil by gluing villains to doors; and, of course, he can win girls' hearts. Wow. Only problem is, he can't decide what to call himself, Powerman or Ultraman. A real delight.
