The Western is back...for a few weeks...which is about as long as this new series will last. Lee (Matt Houston) Horsley plays an 1890 gunfighter who suddenly gets custody of his dying sister's four kids. The show tries to be authentic, and that's its fatal mistake: It is about simple folks of few words, but folks of few words don't make for scintillating TV. And besides, it's not cute anymore to see kids playing with guns.
