Picks and Pans Review: Too Good to Be True

NBC (Mon., Nov. 14, 9 p.m. ET)

B+

Patrick Duffy plays a nice-guy writer who falls for Loni Anderson even though she's mean, nasty, demanding, domineering, jealous and dangerously crazy. He falls for her because she looks gorgeous in a killer bikini. Those silly men. After Duffy marries Anderson, all kinds of ugly things happen and Too Good to Be True turns into an oomphy psychological drama. It figures that a good movie about evil would come from NBC. After Geraldo's show, NBC is, of course, The Devil's Network.
