O stay away all ye diabetics. This Christmas confection may be far too sweet for your health. Salt Lake City's Mormon Tabernacle Choir swells with the sounds of Joy to the World!, Away in a Manger and other seasonal favorites in a 45-minute production that at times seems more wholesome than an oatmeal cookie. Shots of the 320-member choir—a sea of baby-bottom-pink faces—are sandwiched between predictable holiday images: evergreen boughs, gleaming ornaments, crèche figures, crackling Yule logs. Silliest scene: Santa snitching snacks. Worst montage: a bah-humbug swarm of shoppers clogging New York's Fifth Avenue. Greatest escape: snowy birch forests and an aerial sweep over downy mountain tops. Best reasonable facsimile of sleeping pills: a close-up of a toy choo-choo train chugging along on a circular journey, which might just lull you into a Silent Night. (Vestron, $19.98; 203-978-5568)
