Kevin Costner made a splash by bringing his kids (above, from left) Lily, 9, Joe, 7, and Annie, 11, to the L.A. premiere of Waterworld. "They helped make my costume," says Costner. "They found all the shells in my hair and the earring that I wore." The gala also drew Sally Field (right) and her beau Jerry Knight, who works in movie production.

Cindy Crawford was among the friends of Isaac Mizrahi (left) who zipped into L.A. for the opening of Unzipped, a documentary about the trendy fashion designer. Friends star Matt LeBlanc (right) brought his best buddy, mom Pat Grossman, to watch Isaac, Cindy, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Linda Evangelista cavort as themselves on the big screen.

Baywatch's lead lifeguard, David Hasselhoff, did double (take) duty as his paraffin protege was uncovered at the Hollywood Wax Museum in Los Angeles. "He's got a much hairier body than I have," observed Hasselhoff, who otherwise approved the likeness.

Geena Davis and husband Renny Harlin clicked with a mouse while visiting Disneyland in Anaheim. Harlin directed Davis in the couple's next big adventure, Cutthroat Island, due in December. Davis plays a 17th-century pirate's daughter searching for treasure.

Tom Cruise seized the rains in London, accepting his mission to film a late-night scene for Mission Impossible at the Liverpool Street train station. The action thriller, based on the 1966-73 TV series about an elite group of government agents, presumably will not self-destruct upon release next year.
