I'm beginning to think the Muppets try too hard. This new half-hour show, set at a TV station, has some great sketches (including Miss Piggy's infomercial for hair extensions) and too much behind-the-scenes mayhem. The fur flies. And flies. Oh, for the placid dignity of Big Bird!
