In this while-trash spoof, comic Stephanie Hodge plays a woman just out of a prison (for shooting her cheatin' husband) returning to work in a roadside greasy spoon full of eccentric patrons in gimme hats.
Hodge, as she does in her stand-up act, tends to hammer the punch lines mercilessly. As far as yokel yuk fests go, this summer sitcom is a racier—and often funnier—version of Tom Arnold's most recent comedy bomblet, Tom.
