When MTV's telegenic veejay selects her outfit for the day, she says, "I ask myself, 'If I see a picture of me in this a year from now, will I die?' "
A fair question—since she's always dressed to kill. Once guilty of wearing what she terms cha-cha stuff, "like a tight orange cutoff top I wore with everything," Fuentes, 27, has reformed since joining MTV in 1988. Fuentes, who also hosts a CNBC talk show, credits MTV stylists for her "sassy classic" look. But let's face it—biology did the groundwork. "With that face and body," says ex-MTV correspondent Melissa Rivers, "she could wear a Hefty bag and look great."
