The title sounds exactly like every other woman-in-jeopardy TV movie. But this Fatal Attraction knock-off flip-flops the spider-and-the-fly formula with a gender reversal.

A wealthy Phoenix man-eater (Susan Lucci) makes sure a studly young construction contractor (Baywatch 's David Charvet) runs his truck into her Jaguar. Soon this silky sophisticate has Charvet working around the house, but it's clear she is maneuvering him into the bedroom. Resistance is futile, despite the fact that Charvet has a loving wife (Gabrielle Carteris of Beverly Hills, 90210) and young son waiting at home. When Charvet has the effrontery to end the affair, Lucci makes life for him very ugly indeed. "No one leaves me," she vows. "No one."

Though this bit of sexual intrigue is rendered with a practiced hand, once you get past the premise—House-builder Meets Homewrecker—there isn't enough plot here to fill a Taster's Choice commercial.
