THE SUDDEN PROLIFERATION OF NOSTALGIC movies and specials can mean only one thing: the advent of another Sweeps period. First we have Fred Dryer in NBC's The Return of Hunter (Sun., April 30, 9 p.m. ET), followed by Tyne Daly and Sharon Gless in CBS's Cagney & Lacey: Together Again (Tues., May 2, 9 p.m. ET). Before May is over, we'll have James Garner in another Rockford Files movie and reunions of The Brady Bunch and the old gang from Laverne & Shirley. Come the year 2010, they will be dragging The Commish out of retirement and rounding up that wacky crew from Step by Step.
