WHEN SHE CALLED HER PLATINUM-SELLING DEBUT album Take Me as I Am, it wasn't much of a dare. Who would even try to resist the country-fresh charms of 27-year-old Faith Hill? Those charms don't stop with her strawberry-blonde tresses and peaches-and-cream skin. "She makes everyone around her feel good," says Scott Henricks, her producer and fiancé. "She has a radiance about her." Hill lets the lyrics of her hit "Wild One" paint a self-portrait: She's a wild one with an angel face/ She's a woman child in a state of grace. Raised, fittingly, in Star, Miss., Hill moved to Nashville at 19 and seven years later was touring with her idol Reba McEntire. But after 150 concert dates in 1994, country's hottest new artist likes nothing better than to chill out. "When I'm not on the road, I go out in sweats with my hair up, like a hag," she says. "People come up to me and tell me I look like Faith Hill."
