Actress Katherine DeMille Quinn, 83, the first wife of movie star Anthony Quinn and the adopted daughter of biblical-epic director Cecil B. DeMille, died of Alzheimer's disease on April 27 in Tucson, Ariz. She appeared in such movies as Call of the Wild (1935) and Unconquered (1947), wed Quinn in 1936 and, after having five children, retired from acting in 1950. The couple divorced in 1963, though Quinn, who is now in the midst of a divorce battle with his second wife, Iolanda, is claiming that his divorce from DeMille was invalid and therefore his 29-year marriage to Iolanda has never been legal....
Dr. Thomas A. Harris, 85, a psychiatrist and the author of the best-selling self-help book I'm O.K—You're O.K. (1969), died of a heart attack on May 4 in Sacramento, Calif....
Casino worker William R. Wilcoxson, 54, who on April 23 received the heart of nurse Rebecca Anderson, 37, after she was killed by falling debris while trying to help victims at the Oklahoma City bombing site, died on May 3 in Oklahoma City from a lung infection related to the transplant.
After pleading guilty on May 2 in Los Angeles municipal court to a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, rapper Tone Loc, 28, was fined $1,350, placed on two years probation and ordered to attend an anger-management program. The charges stem from a confrontation with a woman friend in October 1993, when he attacked her car with a baseball bat while she was inside the vehicle.
British actor John Hurt, 55, and his third wife, film assistant Jo Dalton, 36, announced May 4 they are calling it quits after five years of marriage and two sons. Hurt departed their mansion in Ireland late last year, and the British press later reported that Dalton was having an affair with the landscape gardener.
Ex-teen dream Shaun Cassidy, 36, and actress Susan Diol, 30, tied the knot on May 7 in Westwood, Calif. It is the second marriage for both.
Actor Pat Finn, 29, who plays brother Dan on The George Wendt Show, and his wife, Donna, 31, welcomed their first child, Cassidy Marie (6 lbs., 12 ozs.), on April 13 in Chicago. "I was in L.A. watching the Blackhawks hockey game at George's house when my wife beeped me that she was in labor," says Finn, who hopped a midnight flight to be in the delivery room. "Twelve hours later I was a father. Amazing."
Actress Jane SeyJmour, 44, and her fourth husband, actor-director James Reach, 47, are expecting their first child in January. The Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman star has a stepchild, Jenni, 15, and two kids, Katie, 13, and Sean, 9, from her third marriage. Keach has a son, Kalen, 17, from an earlier marriage. Seymour's pregnancy will be worked into the show's story line, where, conveniently, Dr. Quinn will wed studly Sully (foe Lando) on the May 20 season ender....
Former Olympic decathlon champ Bruce Jenner, 45, and his wife, Kris, 38, who brought four kids apiece to their 1991 marriage, are expecting a child together in November.

Actress Joanna Lumley, 49, the ex-model and New Avengers star who plays champagne-guzzling, coke-snorting, bed-hopping Patsy on Comedy Central's Absolutely Fabulous, was named an Officer of the Order of the British Empire and presented with a medal by Queen Elizabeth on May 2 at Buckingham Palace. Lumley celebrated with champagne.
