Face-off: A puckish Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers chowed down for a pro-celeb hockey match in L.A. Ice novice Kiedis scored the winning goal: the game raised $100,000 for cancer and AIDS research.

Magnum force: Cable-TV maverick Ted Turner and the missus, Jane Fonda, joined Unforgiven outlaw Clint Eastwood at the Golden Boot Awards in L.A., where they were honored for their work in Westerns (and Western wear).

Call it puppy love: Wynonna Judd, who's currently touring for her new album, Tell Me Why, traveled to L.A. with her two rat terriers Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline. She left the remainder of her menagerie—including seven dogs, 22 cats and three horses—back home in Franklin, Tenn.

Not so mad dogs and Englishmen: Rolling Stones Charlie Watts (left), Mick Jagger, Keith Richards (crouching), Ron Woods and Woods's canine pal Cocoa took a break near Dublin, where the band is working on an album due next year.

"A woman is only a woman," goes the old saying, "but a good cigar is a smoke." Ellen Barkin didn't see it that way when hubby Gabriel Byrne lit up at a New York City screening of Into the West. The couple costar in the new adventure flick.
