Daniel Day-Lewis, 36, star of The Age of Innocence, pleaded guilty on Sept. 27 to a charge of speeding in Devon, England. The Oscar winner (for 1989's My Left Foot) had been driving his motorcycle at 102.56 m.p.h. in August, when he was stopped by local police. He was ordered to pay $367.50 in fines and banned from the bike for one week....

Rocky Mountain Low: On Sept. 24, singer John Denver, 49, agreed to give a benefit concert and perform 25 hours of public service in Aspen in exchange for having the under-the-influence charges that were brought against him on Aug. 21 reduced to the lesser charge of driving-while-ability-impaired. Denver, a first-time offender, will also pay a $50 fine and complete an alcohol-abuse evaluation.

Shawn Bradley, 21, the Philadelphia '76ers rookie center, who towers at 7'6", let down his guard to marry 5'3" Annette Evertsen, in her 20s, in Salt Lake City on Sept. 25.
