The star of The Man Without a Face, Mel Gibson, took wife Robyn to meet the man who would be king—Prince Charles—at the London premiere of the film. Gibson is currently shooting Maverick, a western that's based on the 1957-62 TV show of the same name.
Matt Dillon and model Kendra Miller beautified the New York City premiere of The Saint of Fort Washington. Dillon, who co-stars with Danny Glover in the drama about the homeless, later attended a party thrown by the Creative Coalition to benefit the homeless.
Billy Crystal used the carrot-and-shtick approach while horsing around during the filming of City Slickers II: The Legend of Curly's Gold outside Manhattan's Plaza Hotel. In this sequel, the mid-life-crisis gang saddle up again to find happy trails. Crystal wears three hats on the film: star, producer and as a writer.
