In the opening scene, a man is shot in a hot tub. Cut to another man (Tim Matheson) dangling from a speeding train. A strange woman (Mimi Rogers) slinks by, pulls him in, whispers, "Surrender to the moment!" and begins kissing him. Apparently, suicidal guys make her hot. What is going on? Don't ask for help from the script. I can tell you that William Forsythe of TV's The Untouchables plays a cop hunting a female killer. But by the time this cryptomyslery sorted itself out, I was too stupified to care. It wants to be a sexual Marnie; it's just blarney.
