The Bad News Biosphere

We heard more than enough in '93 about—and from—a bunch of spotlight hogs. What better way to muffle their mugs than to volunteer them for the next Biosphere, set to seal in February: nothing in, nothing out for a blissful year. Clockwise from top right, here's the crew profile: Chevy Chase will benefit from a captive audience; with underwear rapper Marky Mark on hand, there will be wildlife to study; tart-tongued model Naomi Campbell will let everyone know who's boss; firecracker-tossing ex-Mets outfielder Vince Coleman will make sure crew members get a bang out of their stay; Joey Buttafuoco will check IDs to keep out the underage; reputed Beverly Hills madam Heidi Fleiss will play social director; scandal-stained Sen. Bob Packwood will keep the official diary; Sharon Stone will ensure that no matter how badly things go, there will be media coverage; and Ross Perot will explain why the whole experiment cannot possibly work.
