In the latest soggy Steel outing, Lindsay Wagner plays Daphne Fields, a popular pulp novelist. JNo sooner is her lofty status established than she's struck by a car on a snowy night and suffers "extensive head trauma." As poor Daphne lies in a coma, we slip into flashback mode.

In the interest of not revealing the plot (which is all this saga has going for it), let's just say her life is a nausea-inducing roller-coaster ride. The men who work in shifts to devote themselves lo her happiness are played by Rex Smith, Barry Bostwick and Duncan Regehr. Daphne's loyal best friend is played by Amy Aquino (Brooklyn Bridge).

The film follows the Five Stages of Steel: happiness/tragedy/fame with a side order of torrid romance/tragedy/true love. Thanks lo Aquino and Wagner, this silly mishmash is better acted than it deserves to be.
