Tyler-made: Aerosmith's Steven Tyler sealed the band's SRO gig at New York City's Madison Square Garden with a kiss from his daughter, model Liv Tyler, 16. Aerosmith's single "Livin' on the Edge" recently won a Grammy for Best Rock Performance of the year.

Philadelphia's Mary Steenburgen brought her real-life leading man, Ted Danson, to the American Film Institute's salute to Jack Nicholson in L.A. Steenburgen, who was paired with Nicholson in Goin' South, will star with Danson in the forthcoming comedy Pontiac Moon. Other Nicholson leading ladies attending included The Witches of Eastwick's Cher (left) and Man Trouble's Ellen Barkin.

Al Roker, CNBC's puckish weatherman-raconteur, ran into a sticky situation with New York Rangers star Brian Leetch at Rockefeller Plaza. Roker helped emcee the team's skating benefit that raised $200,000 for New York's Ronald McDonald House.

Lyle Lovett and Tracey Ullman came into clothes range in Paris, filming Pret-a-Porter, Robert Altman's peek at fashion shows. Ullman plays a British Vogue editor, Lovett a cowboy who meets (déjà vu?) reporter Julia Roberts.
