Hey, I've got a hit on my hands! Heather Locklear, whose vampy and vitriolic Amanda character has helped boost the ratings of Fox's Melrose Place, took time out from her duties on the yuppie soap opera to attend the GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) Media Awards in Los Angeles.

Cut from the same cloth: Both Amanda Pays and her husband, L.A. Law's Corbin Bernsen, applied the velvet touch to their outfits. The couple attended a party in L.A. recently for The New Yorker magazine's special movie issue.

A hard night's day: After a molto bene show, an exhausted Adam Sandler, Saturday Night Live's very own Opera Man, traded in his cape for a baseball cap and headed out of the NBC studios with friend Margaret Rudin.

Too old to phone home: Henry Thomas appeared at the L.A. screening of The Paper. Now a 21-year-old actor, he was once the baby-faced, nonsmoking Elliot in the 1982 outer-worldly smash E.T.

Tiffany Trump aptly dribbled on momma Marla Maples at a recent New York Knicks basketball game. Proud daddy, real estate mogul Donald Trump, sat next to his wife and 6-month-old baby daughter.
