The fortune earned by Home Alone proved to Hollywood that Americans arc crazy about cute little? boys, especially ones who dispatch villains with a sadistic glee bordering on the sociopathic (Oh, come on—are you going to pretend that puncturing a man's foot with nails is funny'?). Now we have this quaint little chop-suey comedy, essentially a Saturday matinee, about three cute little boys—trained in martial arts by Victor (The Last Emperor) Wong—who defeat legions of baddies with strategically aimed kicks. Lois of leaps, thuds, groans, yipes and so on, plus a bit of bathroom humor involving a soft drink laced with laxatives. The kids, at least, are cute, and with proper management should be on the cover of Tiger Beat real soon. (PG)
