The $100-a-plate do drew 200 ecologically minded fans to L.A.'s Eden-esque Hotel Bel-Air for an evening of soap chat and an auction of memorabilia. Green ribbons were the accessory of choice for headliners including Hunter Tylo (The Bold and the Beautiful), Y&R's Lauralee Bell and Days of Our Lives' Michael Sabatino, who gamely fielded questions during the (free-range?) chicken dinner. By evening's end, $52,000—including $1,000 for a guided tour of the Y&R set—had been raised. Presented with the first annual Save the Earth award, Scott (the foundation's spokeswoman) said, "Don't make me cry tonight. I cry enough at work."
