So far this has been a mediocre season for the networks. Consequently, the ax is falling already. Major shake-ups include NBC dumping its troubled Friday night lineup (see Perry Mason review below) and CBS jettisoning its anemic Saturday night slate. Stay tuned. The fun is just beginning.
