Marg Helgenberger gives a spirited performance as a woman who gets involved with a creepy carpenter (Richard Dean Anderson). Director Peter Markle has stocked this thriller with more eye-catchingly fancy shots than you'll see in a month of TV movies. But his inventive technique, like the ominous score, is about 20 minutes ahead of—and 40 degrees hotter than—the suspense generated by the script. Joe Pantoliano and Melinda Culea costar.
