THE BIG MARQUEE EVENT DURING PBS's March pledge period is The Bob Dylan 30th Anniversary Celebration (Sat., March 6, 7 p.m. FT). An extraordinary assemblage of musicians gathered last October at Madison Square Garden to pay homage to the most enigmatic and influential songwriter of the modern era. High-lights include Lou Reed's lean, militant treatment of "Foot of Pride," Neil Young's knee-walking waltz through "Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues" and Richie Havens's virtuoso cover of "Just Like a Woman." You also get to see Sinéad O'Connor being greeted with the most lusty, sustained chorus of boos since Richie Allen played baseball in Philadelphia. (This was just days after O'Connor tore up a picture of the Pope on Saturday Night Live.) The salute to Dylan concludes the following night at the same time.
